The River Road-Center Road intersection currently under construction will have a series of traffic lights that control a double U-turn design, according to FDOT plans.
NORTH PORT °®¶¹´«Ã½” Transportation officials may change plans in the middle of the River Road widening project, adding two more travel lanes while work continues.
Crews have been rebuilding a 5-mile stretch of River Road from U.S. 41 to Interstate 75 since 2022.
